Dr. Souad Ezzerouali is an esteemed academic and legal scholar, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Private Law Department at the College of Law, Dhofar University, Oman, since 2021. She earned her Ph.D. in Advanced Civil Law from Mohammed V University, Morocco, in 2014, and subsequently completed postdoctoral training in Civil Law at the University of Sherbrooke, Canada. Dr. Ezzerouali is also pursuing a Master’s degree in law at Laval University, Canada, further enhancing her expertise in the field. Additionally, she holds a Master’s degree in Territorial Administration from the Royal Institute of Territorial Administration, Morocco.
Dr. Ezzerouali has a rich academic background, including her roles as a Visiting Professor at Mohammed V University Souissi-Salé and an Assistant Professor at Mohammed V University Agdal-Rabat, both in Morocco. Alongside her academic career, she has held prominent administrative positions, including serving as a Regional Inspector at the Ministry of Finance and a Senior Officer at the Ministry of Interior in Morocco.
Her academic specialization encompasses key areas such as nominated contracts, law of evidence, arbitration law, labor law, and civil law. Her research interests are diverse and include joint ownership, organ donation, smart contracts, applied ethics, and digital law, reflecting her dedication to addressing contemporary legal challenges.
