Yeshika Somarathna is a PhD candidate attached to the department of Management, Faculty of Business, Economics and Law of the Auckland University of Technology (AUT), New Zealand. She has obtained her bachelor’s degree (B.Sc. Honours in Business Administration) and master’s degree (MSc in Management) from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. She is a CIMA passed finalist, has over ten years of experience as a lecturer in Sri Lanka and currently working as a teaching assistant at AUT. She has presented her research at international conferences, and her research interest encompasses gender, entrepreneurship, identity and organisations.
